12.12.08 Orbitel Expands HD Lineup to 54!
December 12, 2008 Maricopa, AZ: Orbitel Communications announced today the addition of 2 high definition channels; KTVK HD and KASW HD. Orbitel HD subscribers that have an HD TV with a QAM tuner built in are able to receive these channels today on channel 129-1 for KTVK HD and 129-2 for KASW HD. For those who do not have this type of TV, both channels will be available by 5pm on Wednesday December 17, 2008 to the company’s digital cable TV customers with HD Services. On this day KTVK HD will be seen on channel 903 and KASW HD on channel 911 on the company’s HD converter boxes. The addition of these high definition channels come at no additional charge to Orbitel customers and brings the Orbitel Communications current HD channel lineup total to 54. Orbitel Communications will continue to grow its lineup in 2009 and remains the clear HD leader in Arizona.
