4.14.10 Orbitel Adds “Fox Sports Arizona Plus”

ORBITEL ADDS “FOX SPORTS ARIZONA PLUS” CHANNEL IN ORDER TO
TELEVISE BOTH THE COYOTES & D-BACKS GAMES ON FRIDAY
The Phoenix Coyotes and Phoenix Suns will begin their NHL and NBA playoff races this week. In order to provide Orbitel customers all of the exciting action during the NHL and NBA playoffs as well as the regular season MLB coverage, FOX Sports Arizona and Orbitel have worked together to create Fox Sports Arizona Plus on Orbitel channel 71.
Fox Sports Arizona Plus debuts on Friday April 16 so Orbitel can televise Game 2 of the Phoenix Coyotes/Detroit Red Wings NHL playoff series and the Arizona Diamondbacks/San Diego Padres match-up at the same time. All Orbitel expanded cable TV customers will be able to receive Fox Sports Arizona Plus for free. Orbitel will only show programming on channel 71 during the playoffs when there is a programming conflict on Fox Sports Arizona.
With the Coyotes & Red Wings game starting Friday April 16 at 7 p.m. and the D-backs & Padres also starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Orbitel is adding the alternate Fox Sports Arizona Plus to televise each contest and meet the needs of both team’s fan bases. The Coyotes & Red Wings game will air on FOX Sports Arizona on Orbitel channel 29 and in High Definition on Orbitel channel 829. The D-backs and Padres game will be available on FOX Sports Arizona Plus on Orbitel channel 71.
Fox Sports Arizona Plus is a temporary channel. Orbitel and its customers hope that both the Coyotes and Suns have a long and successful playoff season. Orbitel will continue to program the alternate channel as long as the conflicts exist so that Orbitel customers can watch their favorite teams all season long.
Orbitel Communications provides Maricopa residents with coverage of the Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondback games through its affiliation with Fox Sports Arizona.
All Orbitel customers who subscribe to Orbitel’s expanded level of cable TV service will be able to see both Fox Sports Arizona and Fox Sports Arizona Plus without any additional equipment or fees.
As future announcements for game conflicts become known, Orbitel will post updates on its website, www.Orbitelcom.com, under its OrbitelNews section and also send out email notices to its customer base.
