Set Top Converters
Customers who subscribe to OrbitelConnect and ExpandedConnect do not need any special equipment from Orbitel. If your television is “cable ready” and can receive programming transmitted on channels 2 – 99. You only need installation and activation from Orbitel Communications to the outlets in your home where you would like to receive this cable service.
If you want to receive DigitalConnect, Premium Movie Services, HDConnect, Orbitel en Español, Pay per view programming or access to adult programming then you will need a Digital Set Top Converter from Orbitel Communications. We offer three options in set top converters.
Digital Set Top Converter — $6.95 per month.* This converter will allow you to access all of our digital video and music services including all premium movie, Orbitel en Español, and pay per view programming under your subscription fees. HD Digital Set Top Converter — $9.95 per month. This converter will allow you to access all of our digital video and music services including all premium movie, Orbitel en Español, and pay per view programming as well as all HDConnect channels under your subscription fees. HD Digital Video Recorder Set Top Converter – $12.95 per month. This converter allows you to view, record, pause, replay, stop and start any of our digital video and music services including all premium movie, Orbitel en Español, and pay per view programming as well as all HDConnect channels under your subscription fees.
