Phone Upgrade for Residential Customers
Orbitel Communications is proud to offer the latest technology to power your home phone service. We will be upgrading the underlying operating system of your phone service. See schedule below for dates and times in your area.
Below is a list of when the upgrade will be completed in your area.
- Sunlakes/Sunbird: June 8 between the hours of 12am - 6am
- Robson Ranch: June 10 between the hours of 12am - 6am
- SaddleBrooke/SaddleBrooke Ranch: June 15 between the hours of 12am - 6am
- Maricopa: June 17 between the hours of 12am - 6am
Please note: Your telephone service will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade. The interruption will last approximately 10-15 minutes. If your home has Orbitel Internet or an alarm system without cellular backup, each one will also be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade.
Your telephone number(s) and pricing will not change.
Many of the settings associated with your current phone features will be migrated, however, any messages currently stored in your Voicemail will no longer be available.
BEFORE (date above):
VOICEMAIL – If there are any Voicemail messages you want to keep, you can download an audio copy by visiting https://digitalphone.orbitelcom.com/portal/ prior to the date listed above. Voicemail messages cannot be retrieved after the upgrade is complete.
AFTER (date above):
The new customer phone portal is: orbitel.user.alianza.com. The setup instructions are below.
- Visit orbitel.user.alianza.com
- Enter the phone number associated with your Orbitel phone service.
- Enter your 9-digit account number (please eliminate dashes. If your account number is fewer than 9 numbers, add a zero as the first digit.), add 0 at front if less than 9 numbers. Followed by CAPITALIZED first letter of account holders first name. Example: Customer: John Phoneman Account Number: 12345678 Temporary password would be: 012345678J
- Select the Sign In button.
- The system will prompt you to reset your password.
For all customers who have used the Call Forward Selective and Call Block features, they will default to the “on” setting. Please consult the Phone User Guide for step-by-step instructions for these and all features.

Instructions to Download Voicemail
Follow these steps to download voicemail via the customer portal:
1.) Start by going to the URL https://digitalphone.orbitelcom.com/portal/ and provide a username and password. The username will be the Orbitel Communications Digital Telephone number. The default password will be the 9-digit Orbitel Account Number. (Please eliminate dashes. If your account number is fewer than 9 numbers, add a zero as the first digit.)
2.) After providing the username and password, you may be prompted for your email address. The email address may be obtained at the time the order is placed for the phone service, however if it was not obtained, it will be required at this point. Enter the email address and click "Submit".
3.) Next, you will be asked to setup your Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) pin. Please enter the 4-digit code you would like to use, then click "Submit.”
4.) Upon login, the Features Management screen will be present. On the left-hand side, there will be three menus to choose from: Basic Features, Advanced Features and Voicemail Management. Please select Voicemail Management.
5.) Next, the Voicemail Management screen will be present. On the left-hand side, there will be six menus to choose from: Aliases, Greetings, Voicemail Management, Voicemail Password, Voice Portal, and Voice Messages. Please select Voice Messages.
6.) Next, the Voice Messages screen will be present. There will be a table with all the Voice Messages that are currently in the voicemail box. Please select to download your voice message or select to email the voice message that you would like to keep.
